Winter brings lower temperatures but is the most common for flooding. So it may be fair to say that there is no best time to visit Congaree National Park. Congaree doesn’t experience the same fluctuations in visitor attendance as some other parks. Come join us on this guided trip as we paddle Cedar Creek and explore the largest intact expanse of old growth bottomland hardwood forest remaining in the Southeastern US. Cedar Creek is located within the Congaree National Park. This adventure is two to three hours long depending on water levels and is ok for any experience level.
